Acree Graham Macam is a writer based in Atlanta, Georgia.

She is the author of the picture book The King of the Birds (Groundwood, 2016) and an MFA candidate at the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast program. Her work has appeared in Narrative, The Rumpus, Harvard Review, The Massachusetts Review, Nerve, and others.

By day, she embeds with a select group of creative agencies to lead brand voice and brand messaging engagements, from strategy to copywriting.

She lives with her spouse and two young children on Atlanta’s east side.
